SyncReady (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the platform at getsyncready.com. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our Service.
2. Information We Collect
Information you provide
- Account data: artist name, email address, and password when you register
- Profile data: bio, genres, social links, profile image, and onboarding responses
- Content: music files, metadata, artwork, split sheet information, and attestations you upload or create
- Billing data: payment information is collected and processed directly by Stripe. We store only your Stripe customer ID and subscription status — never your card number or banking details.
- Communications: inquiry messages, replies, and any emails you send us
Information collected automatically
- Usage data: pages viewed, features used, pitch page plays, downloads, and inquiry submissions
- Device & log data: IP address, browser type, operating system, and referring URL
- Analytics: we use Vercel Analytics to collect anonymized performance and usage metrics
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
- Process subscriptions and payments
- Send transactional emails (welcome messages, inquiry notifications, split sheet signing requests)
- Generate analytics dashboards showing pitch page engagement (plays, downloads, inquiries)
- Enforce our Terms of Service and prevent abuse
- Respond to support requests
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
4. How We Share Your Information
We may share your information only in these circumstances:
- Pitch pages: when you create a pitch page, the content you include (tracks, metadata, artist name) is accessible to anyone with the link (and password, if set)
- Inquiries: when a visitor submits a license inquiry, their name, email, and message are shared with you, and your reply is sent to them
- Service providers: we use third-party services to operate the platform, including Supabase (database & auth), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), and Vercel (hosting & analytics). These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy policies
- Legal obligations: we may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or government request
5. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on servers provided by Supabase and Vercel, primarily in the United States. We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), encrypted storage, and role-based access controls. Music files are stored in secure cloud storage with signed, time-limited URLs for access.
While we take reasonable precautions, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account data and content for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance purposes (e.g., billing records).
7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access, correct, or delete your personal information
- Export your data in a portable format
- Opt out of non-essential communications
- Request restriction of processing
